The perfect answer for reducing single use plastic waste in warehouse and distribution applications with a return loop.
Palband Product Overview
The Standard Palband starts as a basic PVC coated polyester mesh product with military grade nylon side release buckles and webbing for the front closures, and a bottom strap to attach the Palband to the pallet. Sizes range from 300mm to 2400mm high and the width is made to suit any size pallet. Extras include document wallets, additional closures and bottom straps and branding. Heavy Duty Palbands are created using the same PVC coated polyester mesh as the standard product, but have metal buckles instead of nylon which gives increased strength for heavier pallet loads. Other areas of the Palband can also be strengthened to guard against wear and tear for specific applications.

Palbands remove the need to use single-use plastic pallet wrap which is currently causing vast amounts of unnecessary plastic waste. The can also increase efficiencies within the warehouse environment and improve your carbon footprint and sustainability goals, along with reducing your ongoing packaging costs.
This depends on several things including the weight of the load, the size and shape of the pallets, the quantity required and any extras needed such as document wallets and branding. Typically prices range from £20 to £120 but call us for an accurate cost for your specific application.
Standard Palbands are manufactured from high strength PVC mesh with nylon or metal buckles and high grade webbing. During normal use, they will last for up to 1500 uses, but this will depend on how well they are looked after and stored correctly and how far they travel for each journey they are used for. Adjustments can be made to the standard product to upgrade the hems, corners, webbing and buckles to suit your specific needs.
No. most of the time Palbands improve the efficiency of the wrapping operation for a number of reasons – if you’re using machine wrappers, these can take up to 1.5 minutes to wrap a pallet, and there is often time taken to load the pallet onto the wrapping platform and then move this to another area for labelling etc. With Palband, wrapping typically takes 45 seconds and this can be done anywhere in the warehouse. If you are hand wrapping, there is need to only walk around the pallet once, rather than 30 times with single use pallet wrap.
Yes. They can be branded with military style print, or with your own specific branding and logos which are printed onto an A4 PVC sheet and welded to the Palband.
Palbands can be made adjustable to suit a variety of load types. To ensure these are a good fit for your specific ugly freight, we would suggest a visit to your warehouse where we can check the finer details and create a sample for you to test.
If you require waterproofing then we would use a solid material and provide an attachable cover to ensure your goods are properly protected from the elements.
Palbands have strong straps and buckles that hold the load to the corners of the pallet to provide good load stability, along with the fastenings that hold the load tightly together during transit.
Palbands can be returned to us for repair so they can continue to provide you the best return on investment possible.
Every Palband product has a unique serial number which is recorded on our internal system which means we can keep track of how many repairs have been carried out, and also enables us to work out the return on investment for each individual product. This not only gives you a totally accurate ROI figure, but also helps us to improve our products by adjusting any common weaknesses that appear. Palband products can also be monitored by using RFID tags which can be registered directly to your internal systems.
After many hundreds of uses, Palbands will eventually need to be withdrawn from use, but we don't want these going to landfill, so we have a system whereby we can collect your old ones and have them shredded. These are then melted down in moulds to create new traffic cones and temporary fencing bases. This is an excellent way to upcycle the product to very useful items which in turn can also be recycled on an ongoing basis.

Our sole focus is to help you find ways to remove as much single use plastic as possible from your supply chain and internal processes, so we will ask questions about the specific areas you are currently using shrink wrap, then if our Palband product is a viable option, we will arrange for a sample to be made to your bespoke requirements and arrange for this to be demonstrated to you either in person or via video. We will then work out the ROI for you and provide a purchase plan to suit you, and trust we can work together going forward. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
