Foreign Material Exclusion Covers (FME)
FME covers are specialist flame retardant and anti-static covers for ends of pipework which are left open during maintenance work. These flange and pipe coversare elasticated rather than using drawstrings and toggles which could become foreign material in their own right.
These covers are printed using a sublimation print technique which is clear and washes well.
Specialist flame retardant and anti-static tarpaulins are available for covering larger areas and feature tie down loops rather than eyelets which could become foreign material themselves.
