Fire Resistant Insulated Bags
Fyashield fire resistant insulated bags are designed to hold battery charging units during the battery recharging process for many battery powered vehicles including mobility scooters, electric motorcycles and small city vehicles. These bags protect property and personnel from the possibility of a battery catching fire and spreading quickly throughout living spaces.
These bags consist of an outer and inner skin of fire proof fabric which can withstand temperatures up to 8000C, along with a non-combustible silica filling which can resist temperatures up to 16000C. Each bag is sewn using stainless steel and Kevlar thread and is designed to drastically reduce the spread of heat and flames should the battery catch fire.
Custom sizes are available and these can be produced for resale clients who wish to incorporate personalised branding and packaging options.
