Fyashield Fire Proof Liners
We tested our Fyashield fireproof cage liner by igniting several lithium batteries placed inside and were amazed by the ferocity of the fire and explosions from relatively small batteries.

We placed 3 lithium batteries in the fireproof liner and set them alight, the explosions that followed confirmed how dangerous lithium-ion batteries can be.

With the batteries still burning we covered the fire with the fireproof fabric and stainless-steel lid and strapped it down with Kevlar straps.

Over four hours later we opened the lid and found that the batteries had disintegrated with only small superficial damage to the fabric - very impressive!
Proper storage of batteries, especially damaged ones, is essential. You should either cover them with fireproof covers or store them in metal cages with fireproof liners and lids – don’t risk the alternative.
